Globsyn Business School in association with ‘Association of Indian Management School’ (AIMA) organized a ‘Faculty Development Program’ on 23rd February 2009 at Globsyn Business School campus. The main theme of the program was ‘Case Study Method of Teaching and Research’. The keynote speaker of the program was Prof. Sekhar Chaudhury (Chairman, IIM Kolkata). Other notable participants were Mr. Aloke Mukherjea (Chairman Flakt India), Prof Ashok Banerjee (Prof. of Finance, IIM, Kolkata), Dr. K. M. Bhattacharya (Dean, Centre of Excellence for Finance, ICFAI), and Prof. R. C. Bhattacharya (Director, Globsyn Business School). Prof. Angus Laing (Head of University of Glasgow Business School, University of Glasgow) also shared the methods of teaching in U.K Business Schools. This program was designed for management teachers & researchers to make them aware about these newer tools and modern research techniques. It will enhance the class effectiveness of the faculty as well as the students.
