Coventry Faculty Teaches Strategic Management to Globsyn Students

The interaction with Prof. Paul Jackson (Head of the Department, Strategy and Applied Management) - Coventry University, UK during his visit at Globsyn Business School was quite a unique one. Our initial reservation before interacting with such a personality was taken care by his friendly behavior on the very first day. During his classes on ‘Strategic Management’ he engaged us in various activities which helped us to relate with the topic and develop our analytical skills. The practical examples shared by Prof. Jackson from his experience really helped us in understanding the subject from its core. His enthusiasm and energy has also helped us in motivating ourselves to go the extra mile while solving the exercises given by him. Altogether the experience of interacting with a global faculty like him was extremely good and we are thankful to Globsyn for providing us such an opportunity. We are looking forward to meet more of such international faculty in future during our course in Globsyn Business School.

Globsyn Launches MBM Programme

The Higher Education market in India has been, over the years, over regulated and under serviced. This has resulted in Indians spending approximately US $ 13 Billion annually to access global education at prohibitive costs. For far too long a large segment of the populace have been deprived of the best-of-breed education and have had to make do with the education infrastructure available in the country.

Given this backdrop, Globsyn Business School in association with Coventry University, UK has launched an intensive one-year, validation programme developed on the lines of similar master’s level management programmes in UK, to be studied at Globsyn Business School, wherein students will be awarded Coventry’s Master of Business Management degree and will also get full Alumni status of Coventry University, UK after successful completion of the programme.

In the last four years Globsyn and Coventry has done student exchange programmes, dual programmes, joint management games, teacher validation etc. During this time Globsyn became an Affiliate Institution of Coventry University and was approved by QAA UK for its academic delivery processes.

Commenting on the launch, Bikram Dasgupta, Chairman and CEO, Globsyn Group, opined “With the launch of the MBM program we have moved a step closer to fulfilling our mission of providing Indian students with all the benefits of a global education while keeping down the costs. I look forward to my team developing more such programs in the future”.

Commenting on the association, Dr. David Pilsbury, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, International Development, Coventry University, UK said “We are delighted to launch this new programme along with Globsyn Business School, which we have partnered for over four years. We have been very impressed with the Academic Delivery System that is being followed by Globsyn, which to my mind is among the best systems that I have seen”.

As always Globsyn has once again taken a leadership position and has introduced a global programme in India. MBM has 25 seats each in Kolkata & Ahmedabad campuses. Admissions are open now.
