The students and faculty members of Globsyn Business School – Ahmedabad in association with Prathma, a non-profit blood center, organized a voluntary blood donation camp today at the campus to combat the vast shortage of blood in the blood banks. The camp was also aimed at encouraging the student’s community to come forward for the cause of spreading awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation.
In this occasion Dr. Abhijit Bhattacharya, Dean, Globsyn Business School - Ahmedabad said, “We encourage our student to participate in such noble initiatives and contribute to the society. As students of Management, such social service experiences will also help them contribute to the corporate social responsibility endeavors of the organizations they are going to be a part of in the future.”
The camp saw an overwhelming participation by students and faculty members and more than hundred units of blood was collected. Globsyn Business School always encourages its students to actively participate in social service activities and its students have actively participated in a number of social service activities in the past.
