Globsyn Business School and Calcutta Management Association (CMA) on 24th June organized the Patton ‘talkshop’ to find out ways to debug the recession virus. The topic of the discussion was ‘Evolving IT Architecture Paradigms’ – Reducing IT Costs in Troubled Times. The eminent panel included Ms. Moushumee Basu Roy, Regional Director - East, SAP India Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Pratik Banerjee, Senior Technical Consultant, Hewlett Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd.; and Mr. M. Mazumdar, Director, Deloitte & Touche Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. The panelists discussed on the ways to keep the business viable in this turbulent time by reducing cost and delivering a better ROI. All of them were optimistic that this tough time will be over in near future and the industry will again return to its growth path. Prof. R. C.
