GBS Students Solve Case Study with Tulane Students

As a part of Globsyn Business School’s (GBS) student exchange program with the prestigious AB Freeman School of Business (Tulane University, USA), around twenty students of the ‘Executive MBA’ (ITAM) program of the university came down to Kolkata for their ‘Global Module’ curriculum.

The module started with a special session by Prof. Pratip Kar (Director, Globsyn Business School) who addressed the students on the topic ‘Setting Up New Ventures in India by Foreign Entrepreneurs’. The talk provided valuable insights regarding social, cultural as well as cross cultural and demographic challenges of working in India. The most interesting part of the whole module was a joint session between Globsyn Business School students and Tulane University students where they together solved a case study on McDonald’s. During this exercise the students were divided into different groups comprising both GBS and Tulane students and then those groups worked out solutions of the problems mentioned in the case study. This whole program helped GBS students to interact with the Tulane students and learn from their experience.
